Nagi Reddy on Wednesday stated that going on strike while the Labour department is working to resolve the issue was legally invalid. Mr. Reddy issued a statement on Wednesday stating that participating in the strike could result in disciplinary action in accordance with service regulations. He invoked the Industrial Disputes Act of 1947.
