While his young team was praised for their audacious attempt to crack the sci-fi genre, the film’s occasionally confusing narrative left people divided. With Jerax, his second directorial, Srinidhi wants to give people no room for complaints, despite choosing another tricky genre. “I want to entertain people,” he says about his upcoming fantasy comedy-thriller. Jerax, the Kannada mini-series set to premiere on ZEE5 from April 24, deals with the quirky idea of a human-cloning machine. In Rayadurga, the protagonist Prakasha’s life takes an unexpected turn after a strange discovery at his Xerox shop. Starring Nagabhushana, Payal Chengappa, Manju Pavagadda, Vijaya Prasad, and Om Prakash Rao in prominent roles, the series is produced by Kannada star Dhananjaya.
