Madras, April 21: The Tamil Nadu Government contemplates revival of the “city vegetable scheme” in Madras shortly. A fresh drive to promote kitchen gardening in the city by setting up booths for selling vegetable seeds, seedlings and other inputs at different places will be a feature of the scheme. There are also plans to develop vegetable culture in the belt areas around the city for stepping up supply of fresh vegetables to city consumers.
