Amid continuing political debate over the State’s guarantee schemes and fiscal health, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday (April 21) launched and inaugurated development projects worth ₹419.78 crore in Periyapatna Assembly constituency, asserting that the scale of works underscores his government’s commitment to delivering on promises.

Addressing a gathering after laying foundation stones and inaugurating multiple projects in Periyapatna, he said the initiatives reflect a government that is firmly on a development trajectory. Major works include the construction of the Sri Masanikamma temple, Kuvempu Bhavan in collaboration with the Taluk Vokkaliga Sangha, and road connectivity to the Sidilu Mallikarjunaswamy temple at Bettadapura.
