M. S. Swaminathan Rice Research Station, Moncompu, has been conferred the Best Centre Award under the All India Coordinated Research Projects (AICRP) on Rice for the year 2025, in recognition of its outstanding overall performance and successful implementation of multidisciplinary experiments. In addition, the centre has been recognized as the Best AICRP Centre for Agronomy and the Best AICRP Centre for Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry for 2025. The awards were presented during the 61st Annual Rice Group Meeting held at ICAR–Central Rice Research Institute, Cuttack, Odisha.
