Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday launched an aggressive campaign for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Tamil Nadu, projecting coordinated governance between the Centre and the State as a catalyst for faster development, job creation and welfare. Addressing a joint press conference in Chennai with Union Minister Piyush Goyal, Mr. Naidu sought to connect with voters by praising the industrious spirit of the Tamil people and their deep-rooted commitment to language and culture. He invoked the legacy of national icons such as A. P. J. Abdul Kalam and global technology leader Sundar Pichai, both from Tamil Nadu, as symbols of the State’s talent and contribution to India’s progress.
