SRINATH Citing the State government’s assurance, the Tamil Nadu Medical Officers Association (TNMOA), said it, along with the Federation of Government Doctors Association (FOGDA), will continue to press for the implementation of a long-pending pay-related demand of government doctors after the new Cabinet assumes office in May. Listing the various demands fulfilled in the last five years, TNMOA, in a statement, said that the long-standing demand to review Government Order 354 (related to pay and promotions) was not fulfilled and doctor posts were reduced through redeployments.
