The AIADMK on Tuesday announced that it would set up “24×7 War Rooms” at all the district headquarters to prevent and monitor incidents of violence against women, if elected to power in the Assembly elections. In a last-minute set of promises, taking its total tally of electoral assurances to 307, party general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami stated that a grant of ₹10,000 each would be given to 10 lakh working young men for the purchase of two-wheelers.
