According to a note issued by the department on Monday, April 20, the inspections revealed the widespread availability of non-branded and loose milk and ghee across several districts, raising concerns over traceability and quality control. Officials also found that a number of milk centres were operating without valid Registration Certificates, pointing to gaps in compliance with food safety norms.
