Andhra Pradesh government dismisses officer for violating election conduct rules

State government on Monday (April 20, 2026) dismissed a section officer and in-charge assistant secretary in the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department, K. Venkata Rami Reddy, from service with immediate effect after disciplinary proceedings established charges of violating the Model Code of Conduct and civil service rules.

Shamsher Singh Rawat, Special Chief Secretary, General Administration Department, issued the orders in G.O. Ms. No. 43 dated April 20, 2026, following a detailed inquiry, instructing the Panchayat Raj Department to take further action in the matter.
