The Eco-Restoration club, National Service Scheme (NSS) units, and Nature Club under the Deanery of Extension Activities at Bishop Heber College organised a campus-wide environmental initiative titled “Quench a Beak, Save a Life – Caring for Feathered Friends” on Monday.

Installation of waterholes/bowls for birds and small terrestrial animals were taken up as part of the programme across the campus. Sudharsana Skanda, a paediatrician and environmentalist, inaugurated the programme.
