A. Harris, the sitting MLA from Shantinagar constituency in Bengaluru. The searches were conducted under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA) in connection with a cybercrime and cryptocurrency-related money laundering case involving Srikrishna Ramesh, alias Sriki, and others. The agency has alleged that both individuals are close associates of Sriki and among the key beneficiaries of the proceeds of crime.
