Amazon Web Services (AWS) on Monday (April 20, 2026) announced it would be collaborating with the AWS Partner Network (APN) Partner SHI India (formerly Locuz), in order to support the development of indigenous AI models. The initiative, which is taking place under the IndiaAI Mission, is designed to streamline access to AI capabilities by Indian government departments, startups, enterprises, academic institutions, and R&D organisations in the country.
