The Forum of Registered Teacher Organisations (FORTO) on Sunday (April 19, 2026) urged the government to bring all educational institutions and systems under one umbrella to eliminate disparities within the education system. Speaking at the State Executive Meeting of the forum, held virtually, the leaders requested that the government convene a special session to address pressing issues and prepare a comprehensive roadmap to eliminate existing problems in the 2026–27 academic year.
