MP Kalisetti Appala Naidu felicitated in Vizianagaram on Friday. | Photo Credit: HANDOUT MP Kalisetti Appala Naidu said that Viksit Bharat—Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VB-G RAM-G) scheme will help villagers in a big way as the Union government has taken new initiatives that will improve the MGNREGA scheme which was launched in 2005. He was attending as chief guest an awareness programme on the VB-G RAM-G scheme organised by the Press Information Bureau (PIB) in Vizianagaram on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the scheme has new additions such as construction of animal hostels, skill development centres, creation of permanent assets and many more and would benefit the people in the long run. Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) assistant director R. Ramesh Chandra, PIB director Suresh Kumar and other officials attended the programme.
