Civic Policy Forum studies schemes implemented in Coimbatore South constituency

A report released by the Civic Policy Forum on five major schemes implemented in Coimbatore South constituency by its MLA Vanathi Srinivasan in the last five years reflects accountable governance by the elected representative, said K. Annamalai, former State president of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Mr. Annamalai said that of the 11 flagship projects implemented in the Constituency, five were taken up for the study. These are mostly related to women welfare, such as support for girl children who had lost their fathers in the pandemic and support for pregnant women. According to the report, 98 % of the beneficiaries gave a positive response to the schemes. The report will be available on the public forum, he said.
