With Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah busy with the special session of the Parliament, the Chief Ministers of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-ruled States took up the mantle to campaign for their party in poll-bound West Bengal.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis held a press conference in Kolkata and targeted the Trinamool Congress government on several fronts including the special intensive revision (SIR) and the industrialisation of the State.
