Policemen start casting postal ballots

Police personnel to be involved in the election duty on April 23 started casting their postal ballots on Friday.

While 5,187 senior citizens above the age of 85 and the physically challenged voters in the district had been allowed to cast postal ballots considering their physical conditions, 8,967 government employees and the teachers are also entitled to avail this facility as they would be part of the Assembly election polling of April 23.
