Members of the Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU), led by district president M.B. Sajjan, staged a protest in Kalaburagi on Friday (April 17), expressing solidarity with workers in Noida, Greater Noida, Gurugram and other parts of the National Capital Region (NCR), and condemning alleged “repressive measures” by governments.

The protest was part of a nationwide call given by CITU to organise demonstrations across industrial units and factory gates on April 17 in support of workers’ ongoing struggles in various industrial hubs.
