Major General Arun C.G., the newly appointed Additional Director General (ADG) of the National Cadet Corps (NCC), Kerala and Lakshadweep Directorate, visited NCC establishments in Kozhikode and Malappuram districts as part of a two-day official review of the units in the region on Thursday (April 16, 2026) and Friday (April 17, 2026). During his visit to Kozhikode, the ADG inspected the group headquarters, training centres, co-located units, and a boat house at Elathur. He also interacted with officers, staff, and cadets in both districts. The visit was part of efforts to highlight the importance of leadership engagement in reinforcing the core values and mission of the NCC. The NCC Group Commander also accompanied the ADG, a press release said.
