A view of the Road Over Bridge (ROB) on the Secunderabad–Falaknuma–Shivarampally Railway Line inaugurated on April 17, 2026 | Photo Credit: BY ARRANGEMENT The Road Over Bridge (ROB) on the Secunderabad–Falaknuma–Shivarampally Railway Line, connecting Mailardevpally to the Falaknuma RTC Depot via Shastripuram, was inaugurated on Friday (April 17, 2026) by IT & Industries Minister, D. Sridhar Babu. The 4-lane ROB , with a length of 490 m and width of 16.6 m (railway span: 37.28 m), was constructed under EPC mode at a cost of ₹71 crore, as per a statement from Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). The structure is equipped with steel girders, RCC precast elements, POT-PTFE bearings, and modular expansion joints, ensuring enhanced safety, durability, and efficient traffic movement, it said.
