Ramakrishna Rao directed officials to prepare a comprehensive and forward-looking roadmap for the establishment of EV charging stations, combining government initiatives with active participation of private sector. Mr. Rao, who chaired a high-level review meeting at the State Secretariat in Hyderabad on Friday (April 17, 2026) to assess and accelerate the rollout of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across the State, stressed that a strong and widespread charging network was essential to build confidence among EV users and to meet the rising demand for electric vehicles.
