Woman booked for giving acid-laced drink to four-year-old boy in Medipally

A woman has been booked for giving acid-laced drink to a four-year-old boy in Boduppal in Medipally. The child is currently out of danger. The accused has been identified as Manjula, the victim’s aunt.

According to police, the incident came to light after the child fell ill and was taken for treatment. A complaint was subsequently lodged by the boy’s mother.
