The International Airport Police have registered a case against officials of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines following a complaint by J.S. Sathish Kumar, chairman of Annapoorna Medical College and Hospitals in Tamil Nadu, alleging wrongful denial of boarding passes.

According to the complaint, Kumar, along with seven family members, had booked tickets on the KLM Flight KL-880 for international travel scheduled on June 18, 2024, with return tickets dated July 3, 2024. The family reportedly arrived at the Terminal-2 of Kempegowda International Airport (KIA), and reached the airline check-in counter around 9.30 a.m. However, they were allegedly made to wait until 12.30 p.m. before being informed that they could not be allowed to travel due to issues related to travel visas.
