Celebration mode: Students cheer after the release of CBSE Class 10th. File

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Class 10 board examination results on Wednesday (April 15, 2026). Trivandrum and Vijayawada once again emerged as the top-performing regions, each recording a pass percentage of 99.79%. The overall pass percentage stood at 93.70%, a 0.04 percentage-point rise from last year.

Chennai followed with 99.58%, Bengaluru with 98.91%, Delhi West 97.45% and Delhi East 97.33%.
