The American Center at the U.S. Consulate General, Chennai, invites school students to explore 250 years of American excellence through free summer activities from April 20 to May 27. The “Freedom 250: American Excellence in STEM and Space” initiative will be open for students aged 13 to 17 (grades 8-12) and aims to engage young minds through interactive Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) learning experiences. Sessions will be held Monday to Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., featuring hands-on activities with tools such as coding kits, electronic circuits, NASA Lego sets, 3D printing, and more. Students can also participate in daily quizzes and challenges, with prizes awarded to winners.
