Ashok Postal voting for officials engaged in election duty began in Madurai district on Wednesday (April 15, 2026). Necessary arrangements were made at centres across the 10 Assembly constituencies to ensure that the polling officials cast their votes adhering to the guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India. The officials also attended the second phase of the training programme. A total of 14,780 officials, comprising Presiding Officers and Polling Officers assigned to the polling stations, participated in the training session.
