Former deputy chief minister Pamula Pushpa Sreevani has been appointed as a member to the YSRCP Political Advisory Committee, the highest decision making body of the YSRCP party. The party’s central office sent a communication to Ms. Pushpa as well as her husband Satrhucharla Parikshit Raju who is currently YSRCP president of Parvatipuram-Manyam district. Speaking to media, Ms. Pushpa said that she will strive hard to strengthen party and follow guidelines given by the former chief minister and the party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. She said that her appointment has proved that the party believes in the political empowerment of women. Several YSRCP leaders congratulated Ms. Pushpa and vowed to strengthen the party in Kurupam, Gummalakshmipuram, Parvatipuram and other parts of the district.
