The local court in Rajamahendravaram on Wednesday cancelled the petition filed by Ananta Lakshmi Durga, wife of YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) MLC Ananta Satya Udaya Bhaskar, to exclude her name as the second accused in the 2022 case of murder of a Dalit youth. On February 2, 2022, the Sarpavaram police (Kakinada district) had filed a chargesheet against Lakshmi Durga as the second accused in the murder of 26-year-old Dalit youth Veedhi Subramanyam, who was also the former driver of the YSRCP MLC.
