Collector inaugurates new Anna Canteen in Kothavalasa

Vizianagaram Collector S. Ramsundar Reddy on Wednesday said that Anna Canteens in rural and semi-urban areas would benefit thousands of people including agriculture labourers and others. Along with Visakhapatnam MP Sribharat and S. Kota MLA Kolla Lalitha Kumari, he inaugurated new Anna Canteen in Kothavalasa, an important junction between Visakhapatnam and S. Kota. The Collector shared a meal along with public representatives, and expressed satisfaction with the taste of the food.

The Collector said that the canteen management has been directed to maintain quality and hygiene conditions as per the norms. Ms. Lalitha Kumari said that the canteen is a boon for workers as they can have a meal at subsidised rate.
