A 24-year-old history-sheeter was arrested for harassing a woman repeatedly by asking her to marry him on Tuesday. A senior official of the City police said Vikram, a resident of Lakshmipuram, had been regularly harassing a 23-year-old woman to marry her. Initially she ignored him but recently he issued threats to her. Based on a complaint filed by the woman in the Puzhal All Women police station, a case was registered and the police, on investigation, found that Vikram was involved in more than five criminal cases in Puzhal police limits.
