OpenAI’s $852 billion valuation is under scrutiny from some of its own backers as ‌the company shifts its focus to the enterprise market to fend off competition from Anthropic, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday.

Last month, OpenAI raised $122 billion in what would ‌likely rank as the largest fundraising round in Silicon Valley history. However, the ‌company has redrawn its product roadmap ‌twice in the past six months in response to competitive threats, first from Google and then from Anthropic.
