File. | Photo Credit: Reuters The single biggest barrier to adopting Artificial Intelligence (AI) in academic set ups is the lack of training, students and teachers have stated in ‘The AI Sentiment and Readiness Report’, released by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE). The report captures interviews of approximately 1,000 students and 100 educators and identifies the “capabilities gap” as the core challenge, which it proposes to fill by investing in AI training, tools and platforms.
