After child drowning deaths, safety stepped up at water bodies across ASR district

Following a series of tragic drowning deaths involving six children, the Alluri Sitharama Raju district administration has issued an urgent notice along with a set of action directives to all departments to prevent further loss of lives. With summer holidays round the corner, the directives come into force immediately.

With the temperatures soaring and schools functioning for half-day, there has been an increase in the number of children and tourists visiting waterfalls, rivers, streams and other water bodies.
