Police arrange a flexi cautioning visitors not to enter the water body at Sariya waterfalls in Alluri Sitarama Raju district. | Photo Credit: BY ARRANGEMENT Following a series of tragic drowning deaths involving six children, the Alluri Sitharama Raju district administration has issued an urgent notice along with a set of action directives to all departments to prevent further loss of lives. With summer holidays round the corner, the directives come into force immediately. With the temperatures soaring and schools functioning for half-day, there has been an increase in the number of children and tourists visiting waterfalls, rivers, streams and other water bodies.
