Hundreds of pilgrims from across the State, preparing for this year’s Haj, took part in a Haj camp organised by Madin Academy here on Tuesday (April 14). A few pilgrims from Karnataka and Lakshadweep also attended the 27th edition of the camp. An exhibition titled ‘Avvalu Baithu’, which recreated key moments from Islamic history, emerged as a major attraction for the participants.

Madin Academy chairman Syed Ibrahim Khaleel Bukhari inaugurated the day-long camp. Haj scholar Koottambara Abdurahman Darimi led the key session, while scholar Ibrahim Baqavi Melmuri addressed the participants’ queries. State assistant training organiser P.P. Mujeeb Rahman handled a technical session.
