The Cyber Crime Wing of the Tamil Nadu Police, which is probing the leak of actor and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam leader Vijay’s Jana Nayagan, said continuous patrolling of cyberspace is under way to curb the spread of pirated content. Officials of the special wing said that, so far, blocking requests had been initiated for more than 300 infringing links, and further identification and takedown measures were in progress. Dedicated teams are tracking social media platforms, websites, and file-sharing services to prevent further circulation of pirated material.
