Bheemili MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao on Monday sought the expansion of the Visakhapatnam Metro Rail to Bhogapuram International Airport and the Rushikonda IT SEZ. During a meeting with Metro MD Ramakrishna Reddy on Monday, the Bheemili legislator emphasised that extending the Metro line from Kommadi to Bhogapuram would provide essential connectivity for airport users and accelerate regional development. He noted that integrating the Metro network with the IT SEZ is crucial for thousands of employees working in international firms like TCS, Accenture, and Cognizant.
