Observing that the Telangana high court had been hearing several cases complaining against the arbitrary action of HYDRAA, Justice B. Vijaysen Reddy on Monday instructed the agency authorities not to indulge in the demolition of illegal structures at any place. The instruction was, except for the removal of encroachments and restoration of water bodies, nalas, parks and public roads. However, the agency should not take any coercive action connected to unauthorised construction, internal roads, removal of compound walls without placing before the court the guidelines in compliance with the Acts relating to GHMC and municipalities, the judge said.
