In a statement, GE Aerospace said the facility would be set up and operated by the IAF, with technical support, training, and supply of spares and specialised equipment from GE Aerospace. Once operational, it would eliminate dependence on overseas repair centres, significantly improving turnaround time for engine maintenance.
