Hippo Hamsini at Tyavarekoppa safari remains critical, vets dart antibiotics

Hamsini, the female hippopotamus at Tyavarekoppa Tiger and Lion Safari in Shivamogga, remains in critical condition, prompting the veterinarian to dart antibiotics using the pole syringe.

The 12-year-old animal is suffering from an infection following the intrauterine foetal death. As she was not taking medication through food, the staff decided to dart antibiotics using the pole syringe.
