Andhra University (AU) celebrated the 135th birth anniversary of Dr B.R. Ambedkar on Monday at the Gautama Buddha Auditorium, AU Engineering College, drawing attention from a large number of students. G. Singaiah, Vice-Chancellor of Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik University, described Dr. B.R. Ambedkar as a visionary committed to social justice and urged the youth to uphold his ideals. Meanwhile, former Vice-Chancellor of Acharya Nagarjuna University, V. Balamohan Das, called for introspection on individual contributions to society.
