District Collector A. Kulothungan has warned of severe action against those getting involved in child marriages in Puducherry. A release from the District Collector said the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights has issued a general advisory to States and Union Territories on the possibility of child marriages in the country during Akshaya Tritiya.
