Karhikeyan Alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was a political blunder by the AIADMK and the people of Tamil Nadu would never forget or forgive, said CPI (M) national general secretary M.A. Baby here on Sunday. Speaking at an election rally, seeking votes for the candidates contesting in the Secular Progressive Alliance in Dindigul district, he said that when the AIADMK claimed that it followed the ideology of stalwart leaders such as Anna, Periyar and among others, aligning with the BJP, a fascist right force, was a mistake. He said that the BJP, which is being guided by the RSS, spreads divisive politics. The AIADMK has committed a political flaw and would regret for the mistake, he said and added that the BJP may attempt to enter Tamil Nadu through such means, but it wouldn’t work at all. The people here cannot be deceived and they are in agreement with the secular credentials from time immemorial.
