Joseph Vijay, on Monday (April 13, 2026), condemned an alleged assault on two women near Pollachi in Coimbatore district, after they objected to a political party sticker being pasted on their house wall without permission. In a post on social media, Mr. Vijay referred to a video which purportedly shows a group pasted a party sticker on a woman’s house wall without her consent. When her sister, who was carrying an infant, objected, the group allegedly attacked her and others in the house, besides using abusive language.
