Postal ballot voting under way in Thoothukudi on Sunday. | Photo Credit: N. RAJESH The process of collecting votes from senior citizens above 85 years and differently-abled voters at their homes began in Thoothukudi on Sunday. In Thoothukudi, over 5,000 elderly and differently-abled voters submitted form 12D expressing their willingness to vote through postal ballots. The total number of voters in constituency wise are as follows: Vilathikulam 731, Thoothukudi 638, Tiruchendur 1,387, Srivaikuntam 1,426, Ottapidaram (reserve) 610 and Kovilpatti has 615 voters. For this a total of 86 teams have been deployed for the process.
