The traffic jam caused inconvenience and harm to motorists and other commuters on the national highway. | Photo Credit: File photo The Bajpe police booked owners of Royal Palace and Ondela Hall along with wedding organisers at these two venues for obstructing movement on the Mangaluru-Moodbidri National Highway (NH169) in Ganjimath by allowing vehicles to be parked on the national highway. In a press note, the police said irrational parking of vehicles in front of the two venues near Muchhoor Cross led to a traffic jam on the national highway between noon and 2 p.m. on Sunday (April 12). The owners of the two halls failed to make parking arrangements at the venue, the police further stated, adding that the traffic jam caused inconvenience and harm to motorists and other commuters on the national highway.
