Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal hinted that rare earth minerals in Tamil Nadu will be tapped to create employment and industrial opportunities. Addressing the media here on Sunday on the sidelines of his electioneering in support of the BJP nominee, Karuppu M. Muruganantham, for the Thanjavur Assembly segment, the Union Minister said the Centre had conceived a “Critical Mineral Mission” project to tap rare earths across the country for development and employment.
