File | Photo Credit: PTI Political parties in Uttar Pradesh have planned functions on a mass scale for the birth anniversary of B.R. Ambedkar on April 14, 2026, with the events seen as a means to reach out to the State’s Dalit electorate. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Congress, the Samajwadi Party (SP), and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) have planned events across the State to observe the birth anniversary. Apart from the parties, the BJP-led State government is also organising ‘Yuva Samvad Sangams’ (youth dialogue confluences) across U.P., with Ministers, MPs, MLAs and other public representatives connecting with the people to share Ambedkar’s ideas of equality, social justice, and Constitutional values.
