Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy performing bhumi puja for renovation of a temple on the banks of river Godavari in Rajamahendravaram on Sunday. | Photo Credit: BY ARRANGEMENT Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy on Sunday performed bhumi puja for the renovation of six temples, with an estimated cost of ₹9.55 crore, along the banks of river Godavari in Rajamahendravaram, kick-starting the first-phase works of the Godavari Pushkarams-2027. The Godavari Pushkarams will be held between June 26 and July 7, and an estimated 10 crore devotees from across the country are expected to turn up for a holy dip in the river Godavari.
