First phase of Godavari Pushkarams works begins with temple renovations in Rajamahendravaram

Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy on Sunday performed bhumi puja for the renovation of six temples, with an estimated cost of ₹9.55 crore, along the banks of river Godavari in Rajamahendravaram, kick-starting the first-phase works of the Godavari Pushkarams-2027.

The Godavari Pushkarams will be held between June 26 and July 7, and an estimated 10 crore devotees from across the country are expected to turn up for a holy dip in the river Godavari.
