The officials of the Ministry of Panchayati Raj and the National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR) collectively called for a focused capacity building and structured planning to enhance development of villages in Andhra Pradesh’s Chittoor district. A team from NIRDPR inspected shortlisted gram panchayats in Irala and Thavanampalle Mandals in the district followed by a review meeting with officials and trainers.
